Description The thesis activity is developed within the European research project Clean Aviation/HERA, dedicated to the study of new hybrid-electric regional transport aircraft.
In the context of the electrification of aircraft systems, flight control systems are also involved, which will abandon traditional electro-hydraulic fly-by-wire architectures in favor of electro-hydrostatic and electro-mechanical solutions.
The candidate will be asked to perform a detailed sizing on a primary flight command, performing a trade-off between different architectures, the development of the related simulation models in AmeSim or Matlab/Simulink and the study of the control laws.
