Description Design and realization of devices and/or system for nanoelectronics. The topics on which the work can be developed are:
- Study and design of Single Electron Transistors (SETs) based on organic molecules and/or metal nanoparticles
- Simulation and realization of Molecular FET with single molecule on metal nanoelectrodes (nanogap)
- Gold nanogaps: study of molecular nanodevices realized with self-assembly techniques on nanoelectrodes
- Study and application of fabrication methods of nanoelectrodes on micro and nano wires
- Analysis and characterization of molecules for nanoelectronic applications
- Modeling and characterization of nanowires based on carbon nanotubes
