Credit Transfer for Bachelor's degree programmes
If you already have a Bachelor’s degree and you want to request the evaluation of your previous academic records for admission to another Bachelor’s degree programme, check on Apply@polito if you need to take the admission test or if you are exempted from taking it. This depends on the type of degree you have got.
If you have a university degree included among those listed in Annex D to the Call for admissions to the Bachelor’s degree programmes of the Engineering area, you are exempted from taking the admission test.
You must register for the admission test within the deadlines illustrated in the Call for admissions to the Bachelor’s degree programme of the Engineering area.
  • If you have a Bachelor’s degree awarded by Politecnico di Torino, apply for admission from the Apply@polito portlet available on your personal page of the Teaching Portal – Segreteria online (use the last student number you had at Polito).
  • If you have a Bachelor’s degree awarded by another university, apply for admission through the Apply@politoplatform available on Politecnico website and enter the information on your previous academic studies.
Procedure for students who must take the admission test
If you pass the admission test and are on the ranking list for admission to a Bachelor’s degree programme, you must confirm that you actually want to enrol at Politecnico from your Apply@polito personal page. You must pay the first instalment of your tuition fees within the deadlines illustrated in art.10 of the Call for admissions. You must also choose the Bachelor’s degree programme you want to enrol in (art. 3 of the Call for admissions).
After confirming your intention to enrol at Politecnico, your previous academic records are sent to a specific committee for core subjects and to the Academic Advisor of your Bachelor’s degree programme. They decide if Politecnico di Torino can recognize the credits you earned during your previous Bachelor’s degree programme.
Procedure for students who are exempted from taking the admission test
You are required to pay a fee (100 €) for the evaluation of your previous academic records. This fee will be deducted from your tuition fees when you enrol at Politecnico but cannot be refunded if you eventually decide not to entol at Politecnico.
Payment methods are illustrated in the Tuition Fee Guide.
The deadline for submitting your credit transfer application is 28th September 2018
