If you are a first-year student of a Bachelor’s degree programme in  Engineering, and you haven’t passed Mathematical Analysis I by the end of the first semester, you must take the remedial course in second semester instead of taking your Optional course.     

All students, no matter if they passed Mathematical Analysis I or not, must reach the 28-credit minimum threshold in core subjects by the end of the autumn examination session in order to be able to update their Annual Personal Study Plan with new courses.

All first-year courses (Mathematical Analysis 1, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics 1, Geometry/Linear Algebra and Geometry), excluding the English Language exam and the Optional course, are considered core subjects. 

Even if you haven’t earned 28 credits in core subjects, you must add all your second-year courses to your APSP in September. Your second-year courses will be considered as “overbooking courses” until you reach the 28-credit threshold. If you manage to earn these 28 credits by the end of the winter examination session, your Annual Personal Study Plan will be automatically updated in accordance with the following rules: 

• Mathematical Analysis 2 will be included in your APSP when you pass Mathematical Analysis 1. You will be able to watch the Mathematical Analysis 2 video lessons and attend a specific tutoring course offered by part-time students.
• Physics 2will be included in your APSP if you pass Physic 1 and reach at least 40 credits globally.
• Inclusion of courses with video lessons offered in the first semester of your second year
• Inclusion of courses offered in the second semester of your second year (provided that all the pre-requisites are respected).

 These courses will flow into your Annual Personal Study Plan following the same order in which you ranked them when you created your APSP and until they reach the maximum credit limit imposed by the type of enrolment you have chosen (part-time or full-time enrolment). Any other first-semester course will be deleted from your APSP. 

If you enrolled as a part-time student, you can ask to convert your part-time APSP into a full-time APSP by 15^th march 2019.   

Updating your APSP for an Internal TransferIf you have some “unfulfilled academic requirements” and you manage to reach the 28-credit threshold in your core subjects by the end of the winter examination session of your second year, and if you want to transfer to another Bachelor’s degree programme for the next academic year, you can ask the Office of Student Services to add the second-semester courses of your new degree programme to your APSP (as long as you comply with the pre-requisites and with the APSP maximum credit limit).

Please send your request using the Ticketing service.You  are required to include Mathematical Analysis 2 and Physics 2 in your APSP, provided that you meet the above mentioned requirements.     
We remind you that you remain formally enrolled in your current Bachelor’s degree programme for this academic year. Your internal transfer application must be submitted at the beginning of the next academic year.    If you want to transfer to the Bachelor’s degree programme in Industrial Production Engineering, you must take and pass an admission test. You can ask the Office of Student Services to update your APSP for this purpose at the end of the winter examination session, but you will not be able to apply for a transfer to this programme in September if you do pass the admission test and are not conveniently placed on the ranking list.
