You can take the IELTS exam at Politecnico and if you pass it with the required score, your English exam credits will be automatically recognized. You do not need to take any further action.
- if you get an IELTS certificate: you must send a ticket with your TRF Number (you can find this number on your certificate or in the message you received by e-mail when the results were published); you do not need to attach your certificate to your ticket
- if you get a certificate issued by Cambridge Assessment English/ Cambridge English Language Assessment: you must send a ticket with your Candidate’s ID Number and Candidate’s Secret Number (you can find these numbers in the message you received by e-mail after registering for the exam); you do not need to attach your certificate to your ticket
- If you have a Cambridge certificate without Candidate’s ID Number and Candidate’s Secret Number (this is the case if you got your certificate before this service became operational) you must present your original certificate to the Office of Student Services, which will recognize the English exam credits, make a copy of your certificate and return the original back to you.
If you get an English certificate other than IELTS or Cambridge (but included in the list of accepted certificates published on the CLA website) you must show the original certificate to the Office of Student Services, which will recognize the English exam credits, make a copy of your certificate and return the original back to you.
