Before you register for the Final Examination, your Supervisor must confirm that you have concluded your thesis (thesis conclusion confirmation).

You must submit your online application for thesis conclusion confirmation and complete the following online steps:

• define the title of your thesis and provide its English translation. Please note that you will not be able to modify your thesis title after your Supervisor approves it;
• when applicable, send your request to withhold your thesis (embargo). You need to tick a specific box (“non autorizzo”/ “I do not give my consent”) and enter some information. Please note that your supervisor must approve your request;
• authorize Politecnico di Torino to check your thesis for plagiarism detection;
• deposit your thesis in PDF/A format + annexes (you can modify your thesis file up to 7 days prior to the oral defence when you must deposit the final version of your thesis).

Once you have filled out the required fields and deposited your thesis file, you can send your thesis conclusion confirmation to your Supervisor, who may:

• accept your request and confirm that you are suitable for graduation. You will now be allowed to register for the Final Examination without any further modification of your data.
• reject your request and send you an e-mail explaining why you have not been admitted to the Final Examination.
