Single course enrolment for unfulfilled academic requirements for Master’s admissions
If you do not meet the curricular requirements for Master’s admission, you must make up for your unfulfilled academic requirements (unearned credits) before you can enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have chosen. To this end, you are required to enrol in single courses for unfulfilled academic requirements for Masetr's admissions.
You can include up to a maximum of 60 credits in your APSP after you application for Master’s admission has been rejected.
How to enrol in single courses
WARNING: if you need to enrol in single courses for unfulfilled academic requirements, do NOT select your SINGLE COURSES from your Apply@polito personal page – Select your course section.
First of all, submit your application for admission to the Master’s degree programme you have chosen. Then, you  wait for the outcome of your application on your Apply@polito personal page – Evaluations section.
If your application is “rejected” because you have some unfulfilled academic requirements, you are allowed to enrol in single courses by clicking on Procedi con l’iscrizione ai singoli insegnamenti/Enrol in single courses and selecting your courses.
If you are going to get your Bachelor’s degree by September 2018, we encourage you to enrol in single courses by the end of the month of September so you will be able to make use of all services from the beginning of classes.
Please note that this type of enrolment cannot include any courses belonging to a Master’s degree programme, as it is intended for the remedial of your Bachelor’s courses for admission to a Master’s degree programme.
After making up for all your unfulfilled academic requirements, you will be able to enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have chosen.
If you pass you pending exams by the end of the winter examination session, you will be able to enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have chosen in second semester. The deadline for enrolment is 31st  March 2020.
When all your exams grades are recorded in your transcript, you must contact the Office of Student Services which will close your single course enrolment. At this point, you will be able to enrol in your Master’s degree programme.
You  must complete your  Personal Study Plan/Annual Personal Study Plan within 10 days of the date of enrolment.
Upon enrolment in a Master’s degree programme, the fixed fee you paid for single course enrolment will be deducted from your Master’s tuition fees up to a maximum of 334.11 (the € 16.00 revenue stamp cannot be deducted), regardless of your enrolment workload:
  • full-time enrolment: we suggest you read the Tuition Fee Guide 2019/20 for information about tuition fee reduction;
  • part-time enrolment: we suggest you wait until all the exams you passed during the Winter examination session are recorded in your transcript in order to exploit the yearly limit of 40 credits. Unpassed first-semester exams count towards the 40-credit limit.
PLEASE NOTE: If you were denied admission to a Master’s degree programme due to your unfulfilled academic requirements but you failed to enrol in single courses to make up for your Bachelor’s incomplete courses by 31st March 2020, you are not  allowed to enrol in single courses “for open competitive exams, professional updating and requalification” and select the courses of the Master’s degree programme you applied for.
