The Thesis conclusion confirmation includes the final title of your thesis, its English translation and the names of the Supervisor/s who guided you while writing your thesis.
How to send the Thesis conclusion confirmation: - Log in to your personal page of the Teaching Portal and go to Online Services;
- click the link Thesis conclusion confirmation;
- enter the final title of your thesis and its English translation;
- when applicable, send a specific request to withhold your thesis (embargo). This request must be duly justified and your Supervisor needs to approve it;
- authorise the university to check your thesis for plagiarism detection;
- upload your thesis in PDF/A format + annexes;
- submit your request. Click Richiedi conferma / Confirmation request.
From this moment on, you will no longer be able to modify any data. Please note that you should submit your thesis conclusion confirmation in advance so that you can meet the deadlines for Final Examination registration.
When you submit the thesis conclusion confirmation, your supervisor receives an e-mail and sees your request on his/her personal page of the Teaching Portal.
Your supervisor can confirm that you are eligible for graduation or reject your request. In this case, you will receive an e-mail with the motivations.
If your supervisor rejects your thesis because he/she wants you to change the final title for your thesis, you will be able modify it through the same online procedure. Then, you must resubmit the Thesis conclusion confirmation to your supervisor.
After your Supervisor confirms that you are eligible for graduation, you can register for the Final Examination and you will no longer be able to modify your thesis title.
You can still make minor changes to the main body of your thesis (if agreed upon with your supervisor) until you upload the final version of your thesis (you must deposit the final version of your thesis in PDF/A format before the “deadline for electronic thesis submission” available in the academic calendar - thematic calendar - Graduation periods).
