Extra-UE/Non Erasmus+
With an eye to the internationalization process of our university, Politecnico di Torino promotes student mobility also outside the European Union. Politecnico offers scholarships for mobility projects at non-EU institutions or organizations that are not eligible under the ERASMUS+ Programme.
Politecnico allocates its own funds as well as financing from the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research in order to boost outgoing student mobility.
If you are selected for an Extra-UE/Non Erasmus+ mobility programme (with or without scholarship), you get the “ERASMUS+/MOBILITY status”. This status gives you several advantages and benefits such as:
  • you keep paying you tuition fees to your home university and you do not have to pay any fees to the host university;
  • Politecnico supports you with administrative procedures and helps you to contact your host university through preferential channels. This way you avoid losing time with red tape;
  • Politecnico recognizes the courses and activities you take abroad and validates the corresponding credits (you must plan and agree your mobility study plan with your Polito mobility coordinators before you leave).
