Internships are offered to students as the first real chance to gain experience in the world of work. Politecnico di Torino promotes internships and guarantees insurance coverage both for civil liability and occupational injuries and diseases.
The Office of Career Services (internships and placements) provides information and tutoring services for students and graduates. 
The intern is required to follow the instructions received by his/her Academic tutor and Company tutor, as far as training and organizational needs are concerned. The intern must comply with the disciplinary regulations and the Occupational Safety and Health rules that are in force in the company or institution where the internship takes place.
Before starting an internship, students are required to read the specific rules, curriculum and course syllabi defined by the Collegio of their degree programme.
