Transfer out (transfer from Politecnico to another Italian University)
If you are enrolled at Politecnico and you want to continue your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at another university or Institute of Higher Education, you need to contact the university you want to transfer to in order to learn about their admission requirements (admission test), transfer procedures and deadlines.
If you transfer to another University and later return to Politecnico without having made any academic progress at the other university, Politecnico will reopen your latest student career, except if you incur in forfeiture during the academic year in which you return to Politecnico.
After you apply for a transfer, you are no longer allowed to take part in any activity or use any teaching or administrative services at Politecnico. In particular, you cannot take any exam starting from the date of submission of your transfer application.

Students who enrolled at Politecnico for the first time up to a.y. 2022/23
You can apply for a transfer out if you meet the following requirements:
- if you apply for a transfer before 31/12/2023 you must NOT enrol in a.y. 2023/24; if you apply for a transfer after 31/12/2023 you must be enrolled in a.y. 2023/24;
- you must have paid your tuition fees in full for your last year of enrolment;
- you must not have any hold on your academic progress (for example disciplinary sanctions, pending issues with EDISU Piemonte, etc…).
If you are enrolled at Politecnico in a.y. 2023/24 (first enrolment or beyond), you can apply for a transfer out if you have paid your tuition fees in full (if you apply for a transfer before the payment deadline for the second instalment of your tuition fees, you are not required to pay it).

The cost for the trasnfer out application is € 66.00 (which corresponds to a fixed fee of € 50.00, plus a € 16.00 revenue stamp).

Please follow these steps in order to apply for a transfer out to another University:
- log in to your personal page of the Teaching Portal – Online Services TAB;
- select the Transfer out application portlet;
- enter the exact name of the university and degree programme you want to transfer to;
- tick the box corresponding to the following declaration "I declare that I have read the Regulations on admissions to Master's degree programmes of the university I have chosen to transfer to";
- follow the instructions to pay the amount due to Politecnico;
- make your payment;
- submit your application.
