Successfully balancing your sporting career with your academic education may bring subjective and objective difficulties.
The Dual Career programme of Politecnico di Torino supports student-athletes and helps them pursue their academic goals alongside their sporting career.
The programme has a one-year duration. For this reason, applications must be submitted every academic year.
The rules for admission to the Dual Career Programme for a.y. 2024/25 are available in the Call for Applications for admissions to the Dual Career Programme - a.y. 2024/25.
We remind you that you need to be a member of a National Sports Federation recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and/or by the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP). You must also meet the following requirements:

  • Certificate of national ranking; 
Other requirements, if available:
  • having been recognized as “Atleta di Interesse Nazionale” by your National Sports Federation, or having been called up to a national team;
  • having been called up to a training programme in preparation of Summer and Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games;
  • having been recognized by the National Sports Federation and Associated Sports Disciplines or by a professional League;
  • participating in team sports in the following leagues: Football (Top Division, First Division, Second Division and Youth League), Basketball (Top Division, First Division, Second Division and Youth League), Volleyball (Top Division and First Division), other sports (Division A1 and A2 or equivalent, to be understood as the first two levels of national championships where otherwise named).
How to apply
  • submit your application for admission to the Programme from your personal page of the Teaching Portal > "Online Sevices" TAB > Dual Career application form. Please upload the following: documents proving that you belong to an eligible student category; your sports results; the declaration of your intention to update the University about your sports results.
  • Applicants must be submitted in one of the two possible time frames for a.y. 2024/25:
 First application time frame - first semesterby 2 December 2024 at 2.00 p.m.
 Second application time frame - second semesterby 31 March 2025 at 2.00 p.m.
