Internal transfers are subject to a previous evaluation of your curricular requirements, language requirements and personal background, as established by the Teaching Regulations of our degree programmes.
We remind you that you are not allowed to apply for an internal transfer during your first year.
Before applying for an internal transfer please consider that:- an internal transfer is useful if you have successfully passed a number of exams and you want to get the recognition of these credits;
- when you transfer to a new programme, your year of the first enrolment is the year when you enrolled in the Italian university system for the first time;
- if you have not passed any exam (or just a few of them), you may consider the option of withdrawing from studies instead of applying for an internal transfer. This way you can enrol as a first-year student in your new Master's degree programme.

How to apply for an internal transferYou must submit your internal transfer application following the procedure and deadlines illustrated in the Apply section: - log in to your personal page of the Teaching Portal - Online Services tab - Apply@polito portlet;
- select the Master's degree programme you want to transfer to from the section Select your course;
- confirm your data and submit your transfer application;
We remind you that you MUST NOT create your Personal Study Plan / Annual Personal Study Plan for the new academic year until you receive the results of the evaluation of your previous academic recordsEvaluation of your previous academic recordsThe Academic Advisor evaluates your previous academic records and decides which exams will be validated and which exams you need to take. You can check the result of your evaluation in the Evaluations section available on your Apply@polito personal page. Then, you need to decide whether to accept or reject the internal transfer resolution. You need to create your Personal Study Plan/ Annual Personal Study Plan within 10 days of the date of acceptance of the internal transfer resolution. If you are still waiting for some exam grades to be recorded in your transcript (for exams taken in the September session), you must wait until all exam grades are recorded before confirming your internal transfer.
The cost of the internal transfer application (50 €) is charged only if you do not confirm your internal transfer after seeing the results of the evaluation of your previous academic records.
