You can change the order of your preferences until the deadline of the personal study plan/annual personal study plan definition process, by returning to the personal study plan and annual personal study plan definition procedure, selecting the action "Change preferences for courses subject to ranking".
Allocations will take place in the following order:
- Allocations to students attending the English-taught programme
- Allocations to students attending the Italian/English -taught programme
Calculation of the merit score
The score of the merit ranking list is calculated as follows:
Students enrolled in a Master's degree programme
Calculation of the merit score
(total weighted average Three-year degree * 180) + [(GR1 * CFU1) + (GR2 * CFU2) + (GRn * CFUn)] _________________________________________________________________________________________
6 + number of semesters of enrollment in the Master's degree programme
6 is the minimum number of semesters required to attain the Bachelor's degree.
The number of semesters is intended as the number from the student’s first enrolment in the Master's degree programme; the calculation only takes into account the exams accepted and validated by Politecnico di Torino.
For allocations of 1st semester courses the merit is calculated taking into account the exams taken by each student by the end of the July 2025 examination session.
For allocations of 2nd semester courses the merit is calculated taking into account the exams taken by each student by the end of the September 2025 examination session.
If several students have the same position on the ranking list but the number of available seats is less than required, places in the course will be offered taking into account the number of exams passed with honors by each student, and subsequently by random computerized drawing.
If you do not express your order of preference by the above-mentioned deadlines, you will be automatically assigned to the courses with residual places.
If necessary, the Student Careers Unit - Architecture may open a new time frame to rank the courses in order of preference (on top of the standard period), provided that there are at least two courses wih available places.
Allocations cannot be changed under any circumstances.
