If you are enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree programme at another Italian university and you want to continue your studies at Politecnico di Torino, you must sit and pass an admission test (even if you are enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree programme of the same class).
Before you start any process at your current university, you should consider two different options:- transfer: it is useful only if you have already passed some exams for which you intend to request a credit transfer. In this case, your year of the first enrolment is the year when you enrolled in the Italian university system for the first time.
or else,- withdrawal from studies: it is suggested if you have not taken any exams or just a few of them. After withdrawing from your current university, you will be able to enrol as a first-year Bachelor's student at Politecnico di Torino.
Also in the event that you have taken and passed some exams, we suggest you read the regulations of Politecnico on Credit recognition for forfeited and withdrawn students in order to decide if you want transfer or withdraw (he years you have spent at your current university will NOT be counted for your learning path at Politecnico).
We remind you that:- if you transfer from another university you must earn a minimum of 60 credits including the Final Project at Politecnico di Torino in order to get your Bachelor’s degree;
- transfers are possible between Italian universities only. If you are a student who comes from a non-Italian university, please contact the Admissions and Tuition Fees Unit.
