Through a project-based-learning approach with a massive amount of laboratory hours, in the Communications Engineering (CE) MSc degree you will learn how to design and operate any modern communication system, including satellite and radio links, fiber optic networks, computer networks, and wireless networks. You will also learn how to develop and use state-of-the-art tools, such as communication systems simulators and machine learning, as well as how to process signals, images and videos.

                 WHY COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING
EXPERIMENTAL ACTIVITIES AND LABORATORIES                
Many courses include lab activities in advanced research labs for a strong learning-by-doing approach. Advanced simulators and digital-twins of communications equipment allows for easy access to practical training. More than 300 hours are devoted to practical training on technologies related to wireless and optical communication, networking, signal processing. Summing with 300 hours of thesis activity, about half of the hours in the full degree are devoted to practical skills:

                    STUDYING ABROAD AND DOUBLE DEGREES
The CE degree offers the possibility to study abroad for one semester in foreign Universities that support a mobility program.
Instead, double degree programs require the student to spend one additional semester in the foreign university (2 semesters at Politecnico di Torino + 3 semesters in the hosting university):
