From the academic year 2022-2023, the programme in Petroleum and Mining Engineering will be strongly renewed to respond to the new challenges of energy and ecological transition and will be delivered under a new title: Georesources and Geoenergy Engineering.
The fundamental knowledge and long-standing professional activities will be complemented by additional competences concerning digitalization, decarbonization, planning, and environmental impact mitigation.
The tracks in Petroleum Engineering and in Mining Engineering will be replaced by two new tracks: Geoenergy and Sustainable Mining.
