Master course in
Environmental and Land Engineering
Engineers specializing in “Natural hazards and civil protection” are trained to:
  • Identify phenomena which may potentially cause natural disasters and quantify hazards both natural and linked to anthropic activities;
  • Design and manage structural interventions to prevent and mitigate risk of flood and instability of the territory and cities
  • Develop safety and health plans in workplaces
The course of study includes a close synergy between theoretical concepts and practical design aspects by means of:
  • Option of internship in companies;
  • Possible development of the final project in the industry;
  • Technical visits to slopes with mitigation measures and sites;
  • Practical projects based on real data and case histories
