Bachelor and Master level programmes in Territorial, Urban, Environmental and Landscape Planning are getting global

In this page main information about mobility destinations for our students are detailed.
For complete information the main source of information is the dedicated webpage in the main Polito portal (contents are mainly in Italian, since it is directed to outgoing students).
For foreign students coming to the Politecnico di Torino and regularly enrolled, information is available in another dedicated page (International Students, also in Chinese).
For foreign students coming for a mobility period (e.g. ERASMUS + or bilateral agreements), information is available in this page.
The academic advisor for incoming and outgoing students is prof. Nadia Caruso.

ERASMUS+ and Extra-EU destinations, a.y. 2020/2021

Students in the Bachelor and Master level programmes in Territorial, Urban, Environmental and Landscape Planning are strongly encouraged to apply for a mobility period abroad, whether for courses, final project or traineeship.

N.B.: it is important to know that the courses offer for planners in universities outside Italy may be in schools that are different than that of Planning, as in Geography and/or Architecture. Students that want to have a mobility experience abroad are strongly advised to get the relevant information about the place where he/she is expecting to apply for, because courses may be very specialised. Universities, furthermore, may have a limited or partial offer or courses taught in English (and a mobility experience is a full immersion in another culture, anyway), as well provide a list of courses for international exchange students.

Possible activities that are offered for an exchange period within the ERASMUS + initiative include:
  • courses (C);
  • final project (FP);
  • it is also possible to work on the final project applying to the "Tesi su proposta" call, thus choosing the destination even outside those listed in the ERASMUS + calls (in and outside EU) and benefitting of funds allocated by the Politecnico di Torino;
  • traineeship (Erasmus + Traineeship).
The Politecnico di Torino launches one call per academic year*.

*: if eligible for a destination, it is possible to have an exchange period even if fundings are not available. More information is in the Call.

Below a list of the current destinations for the 2020/2021 Call. More information is available in the dedicated webpage. Destinations outside EU may be generically described for students or the area of architecture: this area also include students of the School of Planning and Design.
Please refer to the most recent call for update information on the destinations.
