How we work

The programme, that has a very favourable students/professors ration if compared to many others, has two teaching typologies:

Units

Teaching units that provide knowledges and analytical skills in several disciplines.
Studios

Multidisciplinary cross-curricular studios that focus around case studies, with the aim of learning by doing to formulate and assess the implementation of spatial policies, strategies, programmes, plans, and projects.

The results of the CPD questionnaire for the academic year 2018/2019 on the quality of our teaching
The results of the CPD questionnaire for the academic year 2018/2019 are quite good for our MSc in Territorial, Urban, Environmental and Landscape Planning.
Results above the university average have been achieved, in specific, as regards the students' workload, the teaching material provided, the interest raised for the topic of the courses, and the general benefit derived from attending the lessons. Clicking on the images below it is possible to see (in Italian) a larger version of the tables.

Attendance
Within the programme, both in units and studios, on-site visits, seminars and talks with external experts are organised. Students are updated regularly and encouraged to take part to scientific events as well as to vocational ones.
Such events are promoted by the School, the Department, or external agencies and bodies (e.g. when new plans or regulations are presented). Students are also welcomed to present their works in organised events open to external experts.
