The Evaluation Committees of candidate's personal preparation for admission to Master's Degree Programmes offered by Collegio of "Design"and of "Pianificazione e progettazione" are appointed with decree of the Dean. 

Candidates with disability and candidates  with specific learning disability  can  request adequate support writing a ticket to the staff of the Special Needs Unit that deals with support services to students (https://didattica.polito.it/disabili/it/presentazione).
If the Evaluation Committee identifies some curricular integration in order to enrol, the possible eligibility obtained  after having passed the admission test  will be valuable until the following academic year.  
The eligible candidate without curricular integration to cover, if does not enrol or does not advance courses of the Master's degree programme in the academic year of candidacy, wil have to Apply and pass the admission test to be eligible in following academic years. 
The results of the admission test will be published in the Apply personal page of each candidate.


Admission test to the Master's degree programme in Systemic DesignThe evaluation of the suitable academic performance considers the result of the written test, the score attributed to the curriculum and the portfolio and the score attributed to possible other skills.The maximum achievable score is 100/100 divided as follows:

  • Written test (maximum achievable score: 70/100)
    The aim of the written test is the one of verify  the ability of critical in-depth analysis of the project developed in an academic, business or professional field and the candidate's competences and aptitudes in the following subjects:
    • Representation/design
    • Methodology of Design studio and  environmental sustainability 
    • Theory and History of Design
    • Digital culture
    • Technologies of Production and Materials
  • Curriculum and portfolio (maximum achievable score: 20/100)
    to be uploaded, in pdf format, while filling out the Apply form.

    The aim of the evaluation of curriculum and portfolio is the one of verify the congruence, the detailed study and the kind of planning activities developed both in the educational/academic and in the private/professional field.
  • Other skills (maximum achievable score: 10/100)
    to be uploaded, in pdf format, while filling out the Apply form.

    The Evaluation Committee will also consider other qualifications possibly presented (participation to exhibitions, stages, pubblicazioni, issues etc) in order to verify the eligibility and completeness  of the competence in the field concerning the subjects about the design project. 

The limit score to pass the test is 60/100.  
The result of the test to enrol in the first semester will be published  within the 17th September 2020. The result of the test to enrol in the second semester will be published  within the date specified in the deadlines section.
