Carlo Rafele graduated as Mechanical Engineer. After a few years working in the industrial sector, he became Full Professor at the Department of Management and Production Engineering of the Politecnico di Torino. Since 2014 he is Director of the Specializing Master's Programmes and Lifelong Learning School of the Politecnico, where he also teaches Project Management and Supply Chain Management.

He is author of over 150 national and international articles, as well as two monographs. He participate in European Training Programs as well as National and Regional Research Programs and coordinates a Research Group (www.reslog.polito.it).

He carries out training and consulting activities on projects concerning risk management and logistics, also in the health sector.

In the 2^nd level Specializing Master's programme in Climate Change: adaptation and mitigation solutions he will lecture Green Procurement and Sustainable Supply Chain in the course Corporate Approaches to Climate Change.
