SPECIALIZING MASTER AND LIFELONG LEARNING SCHOOL
The Specializing Master and Lifelong Learning School has the aim to promote, plan and manage the Lifelong Learning Course and Specializing Master of the Polytechnic of Turin. It acts in collaboration with the Departments and the public and private partners collaborating for the achievement of the training activities established by the University governing bodies.
FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL SPECIALIZING MASTER’S DEGREES
A Specializing Master’s degree is a high-level postgraduate university qualification. You can study for a first level Specializing Master’s at Politecnico di Torino after you have attained a 3-year first degree; you can study for a second level Specializing Master’s degree after you have attained a 5-year first degree. If you have an Italian vecchio ordinamento (old system) degree you can access both first and second level Specializing Master degrees.
Master’s degrees are post-graduate courses which require a minimum of at least 60 credits. Their structure is flexible, with educational and training provisions which are often very sector-specific. First level Specializing Masters degrees provide students with a precise professional profile while Second level Specializing Masters degrees provide a greater depth of specialization.

Master’s degrees are designed by the Politecnico in collaboration with public or private bodies or with other Italian Universities. They forge a connection between university and enterprise which supports entry into the labour market. In many cases this qualification is one of the most important assets a graduate can choose for his/her professional future.
