PERIOD: SEPTEMBER the course will be organized each two years and deals with power electronic systems used in distributed generation of electrical energy using the following distributed power sources: wind generators, photovoltaic panels, fuel cells, gas micro-turbines and micro-hydro generators. The power electronic topologies and their control will be analyzed. international standards for the connection of power will be presented. Moreover, the course presents an analysis of the standards for the connection of power electronic converters with the power grid.

Exam:
In addition to the message sent by the online system, students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are invited to directly inform the professor in charge of the course about the special arrangements for the exam that have been agreed with the Special Needs Unit. The professor has to be informed at least one week before the beginning of the examination session in order to provide students with the most suitable arrangements for each specific type of exam.
