Il corso è rivolto a studenti PhD che sono interessati a vetri speciali ed innovativi per conversione e storage di energia, biomateriali, fotonica, vetri da riciclo. Il corso è tenuto in lingua Inglese e sono previsti seminari tenuti da specialisti del settore relativo ai materiali vetrosi per le suddette applicazioni.
The course is intended for PhD students who are interested in special glasses for biomedics, photonics, energy conversion and storage, waste management, microfluidics and sensing. The language of the course will be English and will be tailored to the audience and its interests. Monographic lecture will be provided by specialists on some of the topics of the course.

-Vetri Innovativi; fabbricazione, caratterizzazione, proprietà -Vetri per: conversione e storage di energia, biomateriali, fotonica, vetri da riciclo. Slides fornite dal docente e reference a testi
- Advanced Glasses: fabrication, characterization, properties - Glasses for: biomedicine (bone replacement, drug release, antibacterials), photonics (fibers, waveguides), energy conversion and storage(nuclear, photovioltaic, fuel cells, celle a combustibile), waste management (vetrification and reuse), Lecture Notes: slides shown during classes will be provided, reference to texts when required.
