The course allows students to reflect about human behavior in organizations and to acquire relevant conceptual frameworks to better describe and understand it. Participants will be asked to assume a critical attitude towards key components of human nature, such as personality, communication, conflict, and culture. After this course, students will be able to: • Identify personal strengths and areas of improvement • Build a “common language” to favor cooperation between people • Understand and manage different communication styles in different cultures • Encourage independent, critical and mature thinking regarding management and people (i.e. human relationships) The course is mainly an interactive one, characterized by lessons held in synchronized mode, which will be interchanged with group workshops/coaching with the PhD candidates. Therefore, it is required that participants keep their webcam and microphone activated throughout the whole course. There will be a “prework” activity to be carried out before the beginning of the course. N.B. The course is reserved to a maximum of 50 PhD candidates so registration is required according to the communication from the Doctoral School.
