The course aims to provide the basic knowledge on electrochemical power sources and in particular on Lithium ion cells and batteries. Knowledge on future emerging technologies will be also provided. The course will provide updated knowledge on materials and cells production and testing. Also recycling methods and modeling is discussed.

... The exam consists in writing a short proposal for research in the field of batteries answering to a specific call prepared. This proposal will be based on the topics presented during the seminars
