L’obbiettivo del corso è fornire una panoramica del settore degli idrocarburi e del suo sviluppo futuro, considerano anche le attività di stoccaggio di gas in formazioni sotterranee naturali. Il corso si propone di fornire i concetti base della prospezione e della coltivazione dei giacimenti e tutti gli elementi
necessari per comprendere le sfide attuali e future del settore oil&gas.
Course objective is to provide an insight of the oil & gas sector, spanning from the basics of reservoir
exploration, to reservoir characterization to oil & gas production, in order to understand the main challenges and
chances that non-renewable energy is currently facing and will face in the near future. Furthermore, basics of the gas storage in natural underground formations are analyzed.
