The final project consists in a written essay, in which the student demonstrates his/her individual ability in integrating acquired knowledge, applying it, develop it, and present its results. The topic of the final project is related to the activities of the course Signals and Systems.
The final project consists in the design and / or analysis of a transmission subsystem: the receiver, the transmitter or a specific channel. The student is required to prepare a technical report describing the development of the assigned activities. The student must demonstrate his/her individual ability in integrating acquired knowledge, applying it, developing it, and presenting results. The commitment for the realization of the project is evaluated to be about 75 hours. The project is assigned during the course Signals and Systems.
The student learns how to apply and integrate knowledge acquired in different courses developing an inter-disciplinary project.

ModalitÓ di esame: Prova orale obbligatoria;
The written essay (in English) is evaluated by a professor of the bachelor degree, who gives a grade in marks out of 30. The grading criteria are: used approach, appropriate use of technical terms, clarity.
Exam: Compulsory oral exam;
There is not a public defense of the project. The report is evaluated by professors in charge of the Signal and Systems course: they give a grade in marks out of 30. The grading criteria consider: the used approach, the numerical correctness, the appropriate use of technical language and the overall clarity of report.
