Presentazione
Course description

Il tirocinio curriculare si prefigge i seguenti obiettivi formativi per gli studenti: � presa coscienza delle differenze tra ricevere una formazione accademica e interagire in un contesto produttivo inserito in una realt� economica; � necessit� di imparare a lavorare in un team rispettando le gerarchie, i compiti e le mansioni, gli orari e le consegne tipiche di un processo produttivo; � verifica di come pu� avvenire il travaso delle competenze acquisite in ambiente universitario nel mondo del lavoro; � confronto tra le competenze richieste sul lavoro (spesso di carattere pi� applicativo, tecnologico o burocratico) e quelle fornite dall�universit� (in genere pi� teoriche); � sviluppo della capacit� di lavorare in autonomia e proporre soluzioni a problemi reali; � acquisizione di singole competenze specifiche professionali relative all�ambito di lavoro in cui viene svolto il tirocinio.

The educational objectives that can be achieved by the students during the internship are: � understanding the differences between receiving academic education and interacting within a production context inside an economic environment; � learning team-working, respecting hierarchies, rules and tasks, timetables and deliveries that are typical inside a production context; � being able to transfer academic skills into the working world; � evaluating the differences between the skills requested on the working field and the ones learned inside the university; � being able to work independently and reach good problem solving skill. � achieving the specific professional skills and competencies related to the working field within the internship is done.

Pre-requirements

I tirocini nel piano di studi di Ingegneria Civile non richiedono particolari pre-requisiti. Non � fissato un minimo di CFU richiesti/superati/frequentati per accedere al tirocinio. Lo studente pu� svolgere un tirocinio da 6 CFU nella laurea triennale e da 6 CFU nella laurea magistrale. Il tirocinio della laurea magistrale pu� essere esteso di ulteriori 6 o 12 CFU oltre i 120 CFU minimi relativi al percorso di studi (v. oltre). I tirocini possono essere svolti presso enti pubblici o privati quali ad esempio: studi professionali di ingegneria e architettura, societ� di progettazione, imprese di costruzione, amministrazioni pubbliche, societ� concessionarie (di trasporti o altre utilities), universit� e centri di ricerca. Il tirocinio pu� essere svolto in Italia o all�estero.

The internships of the Civil Engineering course do not require special pre-requisites. There are no minimum CFU to be achieved before starting the internship. The student can fulfil a 6CFU internship in the bachelor degree and a 6CFU internship in the master degree. The master degree internship can be extended adding 6 or 12CFU extra; in this case the student will get the master degree with 126 or 132CFU instead of the regular 120. Internships can be done by private or public companies like: engineering or architecture design studios or firms, construction companies, public administrations, concession holding companies (highways and railways, energy production and distribution, water and sewage management, etc.), universities and research labs. The internship can be done in Italy or abroad.

Once per year, the TIME FOR JOB event of the CIA (Construction, Infrastructures, Environment) is organized to promote the meeting between companies interested in internships and students. Gli studenti e le studentesse con disabilit� o con Disturbi Specifici di Apprendimento (DSA), oltre alla segnalazione tramite procedura informatizzata, sono invitati a comunicare anche direttamente al/la docente titolare dell'insegnamento, con un preavviso non inferiore ad una settimana dall'avvio della sessione d'esame, gli strumenti compensativi concordati con l'Unit� Special Needs, al fine di permettere al/la docente la declinazione pi� idonea in riferimento alla specifica tipologia di esame.

Exam:

In addition to the message sent by the online system, students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are invited to directly inform the professor in charge of the course about the special arrangements for the exam that have been agreed with the Special Needs Unit. The professor has to be informed at least one week before the beginning of the examination session in order to provide students with the most suitable arrangements for each specific type of exam.
