Obiettivi dell'insegnamento
The main goal of this extended laboratory practice is to provide the students a certain experience in operating on pilot size units. Each laboratory unit is currently operative in related research projects. Due to this possibility, students can actually know the importance of doing research in updated field and side to side with the technological interests of textile industry. Both technological topics and environment related aspects are considered.
Programma
-Dyeing recipe formulation and kinetics monitoring with Teintolab.
-Dyeing of yarn packages (two step operation) in a horizontal type equipment (OBEM type API/0/1/273)
-Continuous monitoring of dyeing variables on-line from a pilot unit
-Winch-beck dyeing of fabrics
-Plasma treatment of wool fabrics in AcXys Miniweb 380S. Pad dyeing in a pilot unit (TMT type F3C LAB). Hydrophilicity evaluation by drop tests.
-Beam dyeing of fabrics in OBEM type API/0/1/273.
-Wastewater treatment in a pilot unit assembly. Primary treatment (equalization and electroflotation). Secondary treatment (comparative aerobic digestion and immobilized aerobic digestion). Tertiary treatments (sand , bag and cartridge filtration, active carbon adsorption, ozone treatment and membrane filtration). Laboratory at Cordar S.p.A. and Filidea S.p.A.
-Measurement of wastewater quality parameters
