Obiettivi dell'insegnamento
Mechanics of textile machines
Aim of this course is giving the fundamental knowledge of the main mechanical devices and systems applied to the textile machines. Application to the specific field will be highlighted. The analysis of a complete textile machine will be carried out. Complements of applied mechanics The objective of this course is the comprehension of dynamic behaviour of simple mechanical systems. |

Competenze attese
Mechanics of textile machines
At the end of this course students should have a deep knowledge of the different mechanical devices, which the textile machines are equipped with, and of the main pneumatic automation systems. In particular, students should be able to: - perform the analysis of mechanism and of motion transmission devices; - design simple pneumatic automation systems; - identify the regulation parameter of weaving machines. Complements of applied mechanics After this course the student should know the base techniques to describe and to analyse the dynamic behaviour of simple mechanical systems,. The student should be able: ·to describe the equilibrium conditions of simple mechanical systems. ·to calculate the free system response ·to perform the frequency analysis of simple mechanical systems. ·to calculate the system response for harmonic excitation |

Controlli dell'apprendimento / Modalità d'esame
Mechanics of textile machines
The written examination consists of some theoretical questions and numerical exercises Complements of applied mechanics The written examinations consist of some theoretical questions and one numerical exercise The assessment criterion is the reaching of the various steps in the theoretical answer and the modelling/calculus capability of the various steps in the numerical exercise. The judgement criterion is related at the values assigned to each step of the answers. Those criteria are related to the global analysis capability (theoretical and numerical) required at the students at the end of the course. |
