Il corso introduce alla teoria del micromagnetismo e mette a confronto differenti punti di vista, fisico-ingegneristico, matematico (nelle due versioni, differenziale e variazionale) e computazionale



in inglese The course provides an introduction to the theory of micromagnetics, comparing different viewpoints, coming from Physics and Engineering, from Mathematics (as a PDE-problem, and as a variational problem), from Computational Science.

Micromagnetismo ed Isteresi: i problemi dal punto di vista fisico e da quello modellistico. Alcuni strumenti matematici ed applicazioni allo studio di materiali magnetici policristallini: Gamma-convergenza e omogeneizzazione stocastica. Metodi per la simulazione numerica.
