Presentazione
PERIODO: APRILE - MAGGIO - GIUGNO 2016

This course follows a previous one proposed during the academic year 2013-2014 and is focused
on the software tools and the industrial applications of the ‘Systems Engineering’ approach to the
product life cycle development, for the design of systems, products and equipments for industry.
Functional models typical of the ‘Model Based Systems Engineering’ are proposed. Requirements
analysis is deeply performed through several examples of products, as well as the modeling activity
and the architecture trade-off down to the system design and production. Some industrial partners
will cooperate in this teaching activity, within the frame of the European project CRYSTAL. It is
worthy noticing that attendance to the previous course of Systems Engineering is not strictly
required because the method will be briefly introduced at the beginning of this course to make
fruitful this course.
Programma del
Programma
This course is aimed at living a practical training on the SE applied to real cases. All its contents
will be described by examples applied to a simple product being used as a test case by the students
to try a straight application of theory, directly during the attendance to the classroom.
Nevertheless, the same contents will be shown as they were applied to a series product of aerospace
engineering and to an industrial prototype of mechatronic system
