Presentazione
PERIODO: LUGLIO
Finalità del corso: The aim of this course is to explain how viscoelastic based continuum damage mechanics models are applied to describe the behavior of composite materials. Analytical models and the characterization and application of these models across length scales will be discussed. Attendees should have an understanding of at least 1-Dimensional linear viscoelasticity. This course will have the following objective; • derive a nonlinear viscoelastic continuum damage model for specific loading configurations of materials and then characterize the relevant damage functions given appropriate experimental data. |
