Students may have internship opportunities at professional offices or other public/private institutions recommended by the Stage &Job Office of the Politecnico di Torino, or at any offices of public/private institutions selected by students upon verification by the Stage&Job Office that minimum standards of qualifications are fulfilled.

The standard work placement is 300 hours of work, equal to 12 ECTS credits. Work placement is named "Tirocinio" and designated with the code 55CWHPM in the Study Plan.

In case the work placement is interrupted unexpectedly, and for reasons that do not depend on students' will, the academic tutor will verify the amount of hours already completed and the correct way to fulfil the designated workload in agreement with POLITO regulations.

Once the work placement is ended, students will transmit the necessary documents to their academic tutors.

Academic tutors are entitled to register electronically the corresponding credits on the students workload upon verification of the received documents.
Such "Attività formative esterne all’ateneo" (Extra-POLITO Learning Activities) will be registered only as student's accomplishment without mark
