1. Provide the basics on the use of microelectronics technologies in the field of
radiation detection.
2. Study the fundamentals of hybrid and monolithic semiconductor radiation
sensors.
3. Understand the key methodologies and architectures employed in the signal
conditioning of radiation detectors.
4. Introduce the design of integrated mixed-signal interfaces for .radiation
detectors.
5. Study the effects of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation on electronics circuits
and the associated mitigation techniques.

Exam:
In addition to the message sent by the online system, students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are invited to directly inform the professor in charge of the course about the special arrangements for the exam that have been agreed with the Special Needs Unit. The professor has to be informed at least one week before the beginning of the examination session in order to provide students with the most suitable arrangements for each specific type of exam.
