PERIODO: MAGGIO 2018
Il corso sarà tenuto dal prof Jorge BARCENA della TECNALIA RESEARCH & INNOVATION
This course is addressed to providing an overview of the fundamentals of the materials employed in extreme environments, such as polymers, metals, ceramics and its derived composites in critical systems on aerospace applications.
The course will not only provide the different details of the materials: manufacturing routes, properties, characterization, etc.., but also will describe the use and selection of these materials on the applications: thermal management of power electronics, thermal protection systems in atmospheric re-entry and propulsion elements in launchers.
