Understanding of wireless communication systems for Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communications. Understanding of geo-localization systems (GPS, GALILEO) and their performance. Understanding of drive assistants (radar, ultra sound, cameras, laser) and their performance. Ability to combine knowledge from the above mentioned subjects and from previous courses to address technical problems in vehicles of any kind (cars, moving bots, autonomous vehicles,...)

Modalità di esame: Prova orale obbligatoria;
Exam: Compulsory oral exam;
... Students will be asked to propose a solution to address a technical problem related to the subjects presented in classes. Examples: identify the required performance figures of a geo-localization system to control the movement of an unmanned vehicle; identify a sensor set able to provide a moving bot the necessary information to move inside a building along with humans;

In addition to the message sent by the online system, students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are invited to directly inform the professor in charge of the course about the special arrangements for the exam that have been agreed with the Special Needs Unit. The professor has to be informed at least one week before the beginning of the examination session in order to provide students with the most suitable arrangements for each specific type of exam.
