The exam is made of a one simplified case study , (accounting for 80% of the evaluation) and a few open questions.
The case study evaluates the capability of the student to:
--formalize and analyze a business process in terms of activities, roles and responsibilities, using a specialized language (ex BPMN)
--define the conceptual model of information used by an organization, defining the relevant conceptual model using a specialized language (ex UML class diagram)
--analyze a change in the information system of an organization, defining pros and cons of the change both in terms of high level (ex Critical Success Factors, Balanced Score Cards) and low level indicators (Key Process Indicators)
The open questions (free text answers) cover the remaining parts of the course
The exam lasts 2 hours, the use of books or notes is forbidden.

In addition to the message sent by the online system, students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are invited to directly inform the professor in charge of the course about the special arrangements for the exam that have been agreed with the Special Needs Unit. The professor has to be informed at least one week before the beginning of the examination session in order to provide students with the most suitable arrangements for each specific type of exam.
