PERIOD: DECEMBER In the last decades the public sector has been involved in a great process of change that has brought to the development of a new research paradigm: the New Public Management. The course will focus both on theoretical and operative aspects of the public sector transformation starting from classical works until the most recent critical contributions. At the end of the course doctoral students should be able to frame, understand and discuss the changes that have recently involved the cultural sector at national and international level (i.e. processes of outsourcing, privatization, decentralization etc) in the grater transformation dynamics of the public administration as a whole.

Exam:
In addition to the message sent by the online system, students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are invited to directly inform the professor in charge of the course about the special arrangements for the exam that have been agreed with the Special Needs Unit. The professor has to be informed at least one week before the beginning of the examination session in order to provide students with the most suitable arrangements for each specific type of exam.
