PERIOD: JANUARY - FEBRUARY - MARCH This course aims at providing PhD students with a wide perspective on the main technological challenges of hypersonic flight. Worldwide, both aeronautical and space domains are currently conveying their interest in the field of hypersonic transportation. Indeed, the development of enabling technologies to allow high-speed flight is seen as the future of the civil long haul routes flight. Complementary, all these efforts are considered as preparatory steps towards the future reusable access to space vehicles. In this context, this course offers to students a wide overview of the research activities and tests currently on-going, focusing on the European framework. At this purpose, all along the course, the presence of a considerable number of international experts, currently leading the most active research centres activity working on high-speed.

Modalità di esame:
Exam:
...
Exam:
In addition to the message sent by the online system, students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are invited to directly inform the professor in charge of the course about the special arrangements for the exam that have been agreed with the Special Needs Unit. The professor has to be informed at least one week before the beginning of the examination session in order to provide students with the most suitable arrangements for each specific type of exam.
