Il corso si propone di fornire elementi di valutazione ed operativi per il monitoraggio ed il controllo delle attività di scavo di gallerie e caverne in ambito civile (gallerie extraurbane ed urbane) e minerarie (scavi in sotterraneo): una prima parte mira ad inquadrare gli elementi da progettare, la seconda ad impiegare i più appropriati strumenti in sito ed una terza a indirizzare l'interpretazione delle misure disponibili, comprese quelle relative alla classificazione dei materiali di scavo.
The course is aimed to provide the tools for monitoring and controls in practice in tunneling and quarry excavation, both for civil and mining purposes (underground excavations): in the first part the basic elements for design are considered, then the proper instrumentation is selected and finally the interpretation of datain critically analyzed; muck classification and reuse in also taken into account.
