The course aims to deepen the knowledge of additive manufacturing processes (AM) from shaping and consolidation points of view. For this reason, the direct and indirect AM processes will be introduced, and their basic mechanisms and applications will be compared. Furthermore, the practical aspects will also be privileged through the possibility of operating on different metal AM systems installed at the Integrated Additive Manufacturing Center (IAM @ Polito).
