The course has the aim of exploring the implications of the safety management of processes in the industrio/ environment. The PhD students wi/1ocquire initiolly the copobility of risk-bosed thinking, then to design o sofety management system, with o detoil in process sofety, but of genero/ opplicotion. Furthermore they wi/1 leorn the distonce between the theory ond the reo/ industrio/ opplicotion with its operotionol constroints, as pros ond cons, o/so considering some critico/ industrio/ occidents, their emergency management ond the lessons leorned . This wil/ highlight the needof knowledge managemen, t communicotion ond risk-based decision moking os hard and soft-skills of interest in the industrio/ domoin, thot wi/1 be fu/fil/edin this course.
