The role of the researcher has become more complex. In addition to knowing how to conduct research and publish their findings in scientific papers, researchers must also possess project management skills. This includes the ability to identify European, national, and regional funding opportunities and to write project proposals in response to such calls.
The current 2021-2027 European programme offers considerable opportunities for researchers seeking to obtain more funds to finance their research.
Although this course is only an introduction, it aims to help PhD students develop essential project management skills, such as searching for funding opportunities, analyzing the main elements and requirements of calls, and preparing project proposals.
