Writing Scientific Papers in Engineering (WSPE) is aimed at PhD candidates who are beginning to publish their research in English. The course focuses on the language and text structures which are commonly used in STEM research articles in English today. Participants are helped to build up the language resources and text awareness that will enable them, in the future, to independently write papers in their own field of research. The lessons are in-presence, and the coursework consists of weekly tasks and writing assignments.

If you do not have any of the above certificates, or if you have a lower-level certificate, but you feel that your English has improved since you gained it, you should take a level test prior to the beginning of each registration period (https://didattica.polito.it/cla/it/attivita_didattiche_inglese).
