A significant component of the course involves analysing diverse case studies, offering insights into the application of ESG principles in different real state and urban projects across various geographical and socio-economic contexts, focusing on specific projects, examining their approach to sustainability and ESG compliance. This practical perspective provides an understanding of how theoretical sustainability concepts are implemented in real-world scenarios. Participants will benefit from expert insights as leading figures in sustainable urban development will be sharing their experiences and perspectives on current trends and future directions through interactive table round discussions, where PhD students and experts collaboratively debate their ideas. Additionally, the course offers valuable networking opportunities with peers, experts, and professionals, creating a community dedicated to advancing sustainability in the built environment such as GBC, iiSBE Italia and private actors such as Greenwich consultants.
