Il corso mira a fornire agli studenti di dottorato le conoscenze di base sulle teorie di management e organizzazione più rilevanti. Il corso è pensato per studenti di dottorato non provenienti da un background comune, o che potrebbero avere una consapevolezza insufficiente dei contenuti e dell'evoluzione delle teorie di management più datate o più recenti. Inoltre, durante il loro primo anno, gli studenti di dottorato si trovano ad affrontare scelte fondamentali relative all'approccio teorico che meglio si adatta al loro progetto di ricerca. Il corso intende offrire supporto agli student in tal senso.
Ovviamente, il corso non coprirà tutte le possibili teorie di management e organizzazione. La selezione proposta riguarda teorie che si considerano rilevanti per il corso di dottorato in Ingegneria Gestionale e della Produzione.
Alcune teorie saranno illustrate dai docenti, altre saranno illustrate dagli studenti stessi dopo un'attività di lavoro di squadra.
Durante le lezioni si cercherà di fornire esempi di lavori di ricerca concreti realizzati adottando ciascuna delle teorie oggetto del corso.
The course aims to provide doctoral students with fundamental knowledge of the most relevant management and organizational theories. It is designed for doctoral students who do not come from a common background or may have insufficient awareness of the content and evolution of both older and more recent management theories. Additionally, during their first year, doctoral students face crucial choices regarding the theoretical approach that best suits their research project. The course aims to offer support to students in this regard.
Certainly, the course will not cover all possible management and organizational theories. The selection proposed pertains to theories considered relevant to the doctoral program in Industrial and Production Engineering. Some theories will be presented by instructors, while others will be presented by students themselves after teamwork activities. Throughout the lectures, efforts will be made to provide examples of concrete research projects undertaken using each of the theories covered in the course.
