Gli insegnamenti del secondo anno sono distribuiti in modo da poter dedicare un adeguato periodo allo sviluppo della prova finale. È ammesso alla prova finale lo studente che ha completato il restante percorso formativo.

The activities relating to the preparation of the dissertation and thesis results must be presented and discussed publicly, in the presence of a committee of lecturers who will assess the work carried out and the presentation. The determination of the final grade is assigned to the degree committee, which will examine the overall average of the examinations on a basis of 110. To this average, the committee may normally add up to a maximum of 8 points, taking into consideration:
• the assessment of the work carried out for the thesis (commitment, autonomy, methodological rigour, relevance of the results achieved, etc.);
• the presentation of the thesis (clarity of presentation, etc.);
• the excellence of the course of study (e.g. the number of cum Laude awarded)
• the time taken to complete the studies, etc...
Honours may be awarded upon reaching a total score of 112.51 at the discretion of the committee. If the thesis has the necessary characteristics, dignity may only be granted if the final mark is one hundred and ten cum laude and the committee's opinion is unanimous.
